Roller conveyor shot blasting machine can blast cleaning all kinds of metal parts, the whole machine design are on the basis of the features of customer parts, the required productivity and blasting effect.
The features of customer parts have effects on the machine design by the following points:
1. The overall shape and the structure will determine the blast turbines layout which adopt 3-D dynamic simulation design.
2. The rust grade(from A to D as Fig.1 ) and the requried blasting effect(from Sa1 to Sa3 as Fig.2) will have big influence on the blast turbines power and quantity.
3. The required production capacity will determine the number of groups of blast turbine, the blasting speed can be designed from 0.5m/min to 20m/min.
Most of the machine design are based on the rust grade B(ISO8501-1 documentation) and blasting effect Sa21/2(ISO8501-1 documentation)if there is no detailed stipulations from the customer.
There are basically two types of shot blast machines with roller conveyors, pre-fabrication and post-fabrication. Pre-fabrication: Designed to blast beams, profiles, sheets, flat and angle bars, pipes, etc. Before the welding process, providing a better welding quality, reducing the consumption of cut and machining tools, ensuring a better cut quality (plasma, oxy-fuel or laser), besides maintaining the factory clean. Combined with an appropriate production rate, can minimize or even eliminate the necessity of a post-fabrication blasting.
