Classification of Shot Blasting Machine

The shot blasting machine can be divided into drum type, chain plate type, rotary shot blast machine, trolley type, squirrel cage type and hanging type according to the structure of the casting bearing body.

Drum and chain plate shot blasting machines are suitable for cleaning medium and small castings that are not afraid of collision. The drum shot blasting machine relies on the spiral guide bars in the drum body to turn the castings upside down and move forward. Chain-plate shot blasting machine makes castings turn over and run through the movement of chains. Turntable, trolley and hanging shot blasting machines are used to clean large and medium castings. There is usually a fixed shot blasting chamber. The cleaned castings rotate or move in the shot blasting chamber. The shot blasting chamber is usually equipped with several shot blasters, which are installed in different positions. It shoots projectiles from different directions to improve the cleaning efficiency and quality of shot blasting machine. Hanger shot blasting machine can be equipped with several hooks on the catenary according to the needs of the cleaned castings. When cleaning, the castings are hung on the hooks, which can turn itself while running forward. Castings are loaded and unloaded outdoors and cleaned indoors.

According to the working system, it can be divided into intermittent shot blasting machine and continuous shot blasting machine.

The shot blasting machine is mainly composed of four parts:

(1) The projectile is usually projected in a certain direction under the action of high centrifugal force by a high-speed rotating impeller. In the working process, some shot blasters can swing or move up and down at a certain angle.

(2) The collection, separation and transportation system of projectiles.

(3) The load-bearing body for continuous operation and reversal of castings during shot blasting cleaning.

(4) Dust removal system.

The equipment of shot blasting cleaner is mainly composed of shot blaster, wear-resistant rubber ring, winch, lifting, separator, feeding conveyor, dust collector and cleaning machine.
