The Grinding Method Types of Shot Blasting Machine

1. Rotary grinding method of shot blasting machine:

The rotary grinding method is a processing method in which the workpiece, grinding stone, abradant and water are installed in the grinding groove to drive the specified rotary motion and produce a flowing layer on the material surface for finishing. This kind of grinding method is more suitable for grinding small and medium parts and many kinds of small batch workpieces.

2. Vibration grinding method of shot blasting machine: 

The vibration grinding method is a processing method in which the workpiece, grinding stone, abradant and water are installed and vibrated in the grinding groove to produce the relative motion difference between the grinding stone and the workpiece for grinding. The net space generated by the rotary grinder is eliminated, and 100% of the solvent in the grinding tank is used. This grinding method is 3-5 times more efficient than rotary grinding shot blasting machine, and there is no dint and deformation on the workpiece and it is a widely used grinding method currently.

3. Centrifugal grinding method of shot blasting machine: 

When the ordinary rotary grinding shot blasting machine roates at a high speed, the mixture will be around the grinding groove, and there is no relative motion between the workpiece and grinding stone, so the grinding effect will be greatly weakened with no relative motion difference. In the centrifugal grinding method, several grinding grooves are installed on the spinningaxis of the rotating head disk equidistantly for planetary rotation, and with centrifugal force, the material will be encircled on the side of the rotating outer circle of the groove wall due to centrifugal effect. The rotating outer disc circle will rotate and grind once, the grinding groove will reverse once, and the material will move in the direction of rotation where the space in the grinding groove contacts the upper part. Due to centrifugal force pressure and forced flow speed, a flow is produced between the free grinding stone in the material and the workpiece, and because the flow produces the relative motion difference and the existence of it, the grinding effect is produced. When the rotation speed is 140~180r/min, the relative motion difference which is proportional to rotation number and centrifugal force will increases, and its grinding effect is more than 60 times of rotary grinding shot blasting machine and 5-8 times than vibration grinding shot blasting machine. The centrifugal grinding shot blasting machine has a very good grinding capacity and shows a great grinding force which are widely applied in clocks, electronics, electrical parts and other precision machinery finishing, especially in small workpiece grinding.

4. Water vortex grinding method of shot blasting machine: 

The water vortex grinding method is a processing method in which the grinding stone, water and abradant are installed in the cylinder grinding groove on the vertical or horizontal surface, and with the rotation of the grinding groove, a compact and rigid grinding layer will be formed on the grinding stone due to centrifugal force. When the workpiece is loaded into the grinding layer, it will produce relative motion difference with the grinding stone and form a high efficiency of grinding.
