A directional sleeve and a feeding pipe are arranged on the housing. During work, the shot flows into the shot blasting machine from the feeding pipe, and the shot wheel that rotates synchronously with the blade makes the shot obtain the initial speed, the shot flies out through the window of the directional sleeve, and is thrown onto the high-speed rotating blade outside the directional sleeve, and is further moved by the blade. After acceleration by the blade, it is projected onto the surface of the workpiece to be cleaned. Because the synchronous rotation of the shot wheel and the blade ensures the vibration-free transmission of the shot to the blade, the wear of the blade is reduced. The impeller head is the core component of the shot blasting machine. It relies on the impeller head to project the steel shot to the surface of the workpiece at high speed for cleaning. The more impeller heads, the greater the power consumption. During the cleaning process, the large-scale overlap of the shot beams of multiple impeller heads reduces the kinetic energy of the steel sand, affects the quality of the shot blasting. If the number of impeller head is increased, and the required steel shot circulation will increase accordingly. The most reasonable way is to design the angle and quantity of the impeller head according to the size of the cleaning piece, the professional calculation of a professional company, which can not only effectively clean the workpiece, but also save energy and reduce consumption.
(1) Shot size. The larger the shot of the shot blasting machine, the greater the impact kinetic energy and the greater the shot blasting strength, but the coverage rate of the shot blasting decreases. Therefore, while ensuring the shot blasting strength, the smaller shot should be used as much as possible. In addition, the size is limited by the shape of the part. When there is a groove on the part, the shot diameter should be less than half of the inner radius of the groove. The shot particle size is often selected between 6 and 50 mesh.
(2) The hardness of shot. When the shot hardness of the shot blasting machine is higher than that of the parts, the change of its hardness value does not affect the shot blasting strength; when the shot is softer than the parts, if the shot blasting hardness value decreases, the shot blasting strength also decreases.
(3) Shot blasting speed. When the shot blasting speed of the shot blasting machine increases, the shot blasting strength also increases, but when the speed is too high, the shot blasting damage increases.
(4) The spray angle. When the shot blasting jet of the shot blasting machine is perpendicular to the surface to be sprayed, the shot blasting strength is the highest, so it should generally be kept in this state for shot blasting. If limited by the shape of the parts, when small angle shot blasting must be used, the size and speed of shot should be appropriately increased.
(5) The amount of shot. The kinetic energy of the shot blasting fragment is low, the more shot is broken, the shot blasting strength will decrease, and the irregular shot will scratch the surface of the part, so the shot should be removed frequently to ensure that the integrity rate is greater than 85%. (9) Excessive wear of the shot wheel reduces the output efficiency.
